Uno stabilimento industriale alimentare ha proposto alla Provincia di Bologna una modifica dell’Autorizzazione Integrata Ambientale per incrementare l’approvvigionamento di acqua di falda necessaria alla produzione.
L’analisi ha dimostrato come una diversa profondità delle captazioni è più sostenibile nei confronti della subsidenza.

La subsidenza è l’abbassamento del suolo causato dal pompaggio di fluidi e nel bolognese, a causa dei prelievi idrici industriali e acquedottistici, è aumentata nel XX secolo con accelerazioni negli anni Ottanta.
Un modello, implementato con i bilanci idrici dei pozzi nel comune di Bologna e con prove di pompaggio nei pozzi del sito, ha consentito di valutare l’effetto dell’incremento dei prelievi rispetto alla subsidenza nel territorio al contorno e di dedurre un sistema alternativo di emungimento.
